This past Tuesday I was officially off college forever! Just waiting for marks now, Covocation in June and then it's off to Concordia University for English Literature!

And I also went to see "Star Trek". It was an excellent movie. Go see it for Spock luv (and if possible, in IMAX)! I went to see it with low expectations (JJ. Abrams and not a huge Trekkie), but it was well done overall. I could pick up on several things (all the Vulcan-related stuff) and there were a lot of good moments where everyone laughed in the theatre (mainly parts involving Kirk, McCoy and Scottie). But I was literally blown away by Zachary Quinto (Sylar from Heroes) as Spock, Simon Pegg as Scottie and the actor who played McCoy (I forget his name at the moment). AND the cameo by Leonard Nimoy (Spock PRIME) just made me fangasm a whole lot. I even did the 'live long and prosper' thing out of impulse every time they did it in the film.

For trailers, I kept going nuts over the "Transformers 2" trailer and somewhat excited for the "G.I Joe" trailer (I've seen them 3 times already on Apple). Dang, this is going to be one hell of a summer for Hasbro. "Transformers 2" is going to be super fun with robot action goodness (DEVASTATOR! And SOUNDWAVE (played by his G1 voice actor!)). I just hope I can see it on opening day (I MUST!) and maybe a few more times. My mom loved the first film and she's not even a TF fan at all, so I'm going to see it with her at some point.

Speaking of "Transformers", Animated only has 2 more episodes left for Season 3 (and the series)! OMG! "Endgame Pt. 1 & 2" better be f-ing action packed as "Transwarped" and they better cover some remaining questions (How the hell did Sari's protoform get into Sumdac's lab? And was Arcee faking having amnesia to protect Ratchet or just resurfacing? Ratchet/Arcee forever!). But I also heard rumors that Prowl's gonna die. Personally, I (hopefully) think that the main cast will be fine but who knows? They did it to Blurr...

I also got Leader Megatron at Winners before I went to "Star Trek" on Tuesday. I was hunting for him for a long time along with [the original colored] Shockwave (next up to buy) but cripes, $45 for a toy? But he was SO worth it. Swords and a plasma cannon? Hells yes. He's electronic too, but I removed the batteries since I wouldn't be playing with him too much.

Anime North is close approaching (1 week left!) and I have to finish my cosplays. For those who are going this year, I will be cosplaying Coraline form the film, "Coraline", on Saturday and Human!ZIM from Invader ZIM on Sunday with my friend , who will be cosplaying a Human!Girl! GIR on the same day. Try and spot me with my BFF who will be cosplaying as Halloween Town Sora from Kingdom Hearts. But I seriously can't wait to meet Vic (Ed from FMA) and Jessica Flower (Toph from Avatar). I getting them to sign a whole bunch of things...
